Lake Placid - Well it would be, but; “somebody said that name was taken.” At least according to the local Sheriff. When a man is eaten alive by an unknown creature, the local Game Warden (Pullman) teams up with a paleontologist (Fonda) from New York to find the beast. Add to the mix an eccentric philanthropist with a penchant for “Crocs” (Platt), and here we go! This quiet, remote lake is suddenly the focus of an intense search for a crocodile with a taste for live animals…and people!

In 1840, there’s work on the Florida Keys for honest salvagers (like the Claibornes) and outright pirates like King Cutler, who bribes sailors to cause wrecks. When Capt. Stuart’s ship is wrecked, Loxi Claiborne rescues him, falls for him, and travels to Charleston to convince the owners the wreck wasn’t his fault; company lawyer Steve Tolliver returns with them to Key West to investigate. Tolliver and Stuart’s rivalry for Loxi’s hand complicates their swashbuckling adventures in pursuit of Cutler, ending in a trial and a dangerous dive for evidence.

Manny (Ray Ramono), Sid (John Leguizamo), and Diego (Denis Leary) are currently living in a large valley surrounded by an enormously high ice wall on all sides. When a waterpark begins to form, the trio discovers that the ice wall is actually a wall that is barely holding a massive body of water that could flood the valley to nearly a mile underwater. A vulture tells them that there is a boat at the other end of the valley that may save them all, but they only have 3 days to make it or die. Manny is having trouble facing the fact that he may be the last mammoth left. Along the way, they meet Ellie (Queen Latifah), a mammoth who thinks she is a possum, and her possum brothers Crash (Sean William Scott) and Eddie (Josh Peck). As they begin to travel together, Manny learns, with help from Diego and Sid, that having this new mammoth with them, may not be as bad as Manny makes it out to be while they try to escape the oncoming and continually threatening flood. During their journey, Scrat the sabre-toothed squirrel has his own hilarious adventures that eventually leads to something else entirely.

The abundance of the ocean-lurking creatures always gives grounds to the variety of terrific tales and stories. In this undersea horror suspense by Jay Andrews a research team is sent to the distant oil rig after the SOS signal was received. Arrived on the rig, the researchers found it completely empty, with no soul aboard; there were almost no trace of life. As Captain Jack Griffin (Billy Warlock) and Professor Anna Davis (Catherine Lough Haggquist) proceed into the depths of the underwater constructions, accompanied by their fellow team, they begin to loose people in the desperate attempts to find out what has happened to the oil rig crew. To mention, sharks and spurts are not the most terrible sea creatures…
