Roger Ferris uncovers a lead on a major terrorist leader suspected to be operating out of Jordan.

Jane Morton, a psychiatrist from Dublin in deep mourning following the accidental death of her husband and son, is assigned to work on the case of Dorothy Mills, a teenaged girl in a small village who tried to strangle a baby. After miraculously surviving a car accident, Jane discovers a village darkened by strange events and meets a very nervous Dorothy, who swears she never touched the baby. After analyzing the teenager, Jane makes a diagnosis of multiple personality disorder until the day that Dorothy speaks with the voice of David, Jane’s dead son.

Dan Foreman is headed for a shakeup. He is demoted from head of ad sales for a major magazine when the company he works for is acquired in a corporate takeover. His new boss, Carter Duryea, is half his age—a business school prodigy who preaches corporate synergy. While Dan develops clients through handshake deals and relationships, Carter cross-promotes the magazine with the cell phone division and Krispity Krunch, an indeterminate snack food under the same corporate umbrella. After a girl has a premonition of a horrific roller coaster accident, her and several of her friends get off the ride. Only when her vision comes true does horrible things start happening to those that got off. Now, everyone who got off is dying in various ways in the order they died in the vision. Now, her and her friend, armed with only the picture she took at the carnival, have to find out how her classmates are going to die and how to stop it.
