A comet passes near the Earth and disturbs Earth’s magnetic field.

Floating toward Beaver Mills, Alaska, is a glacier—an icy tomb for a prehistoric winged creature. Once released, it turns the small community into a feeding ground sending helpless residents into a fight for their lives. With time running out, trucker Jake Suttner sees only one option: steal the creature’s egg from its nest and use it as bait in a trap. But beware - the Wyvern is one angry mother.

When a man is eaten alive by an unknown creature, the local Game Warden (Pullman) teams up with a paleontologist (Fonda) from New York to find the beast. Add to the mix an eccentric philanthropist with a penchant for “Crocs” (Platt), and here we go! This quiet, remote lake is suddenly the focus of an intense search for a crocodile with a taste for live animals…and people!

Nick Larson and his best friends Trevor Eastman and Amanda are celebrating the twentieth-fourth anniversary of his girlfriend Julie Miller in a beautiful lake on a Sunday morning. Nick is expecting to be promoted in the company where he works, and Julie is planning to move to his place instead of going to New York for her Master degree. However, Nick is called by his colleague Dave Bristol, who is disputing the promotion with Nick, for a meeting with a client. While in the road, Nick has an accident and Julie and his friends die. One year later, Nick finds that he can travel in time and tries to fix the past, with tragic consequences for the future.
