Captain New Eyes travels back in time in what is presumably the Late Cretaceous Period. He feeds the four prehistoric dinosaurs with the names of Rex, Elsa, Dweeb, and Woog his Brain Grain cereal, which makes them intelligent, non-violent and gentle creatures. They travel via space ship to the 21st century where they befriends with a street-smart boy and a poor-little-rich girl tough-talking but secretly soft-hearted Louie and a neglected cutie named Cecilia, from the opposite sides of the tracks, get rooked into performing in a demented circus run by the scientist’s evil brother Professor ScrewEyes, and learns something about friendship. He has other plans for those dinosaurs. In addition, his demeanor of tapping into people’s nightmares and a hypnotic stare render him a menace to be feared. ScrewEyes may be a bizarre baddie, but he works all the same.

Morgana, sister of Ursula, almost steals the baby Melody from her parents, Ariel and Eric. To protect Melody, she’s told never to enter the ocean, but by her 12th birthday, she’s been swimming there for years. She discovers the magic locket that was to be her christening gift, which makes her visible to Morgana. Morgana tempts her by offering her fondest wish, to turn her into a mermaid; however, to remain a mermaid, she’ll have to steal the magic trident from King Triton (who, unknown to her, is her grandfather). Meanwhile, all the sea creatures are searching for her. Along the way, she joins up with comic relief sidekicks Tip (a penguin) and Dash (a walrus). When she returns with the trident, Morgana’s evil nature is revealed, and there is a massive battle of good and evil.

When the will of Victor Frankenstein, the famous scientist who attempted to reanimate dead bodies, is opened, his grandson, Frederick, who’s become a skilled neurosurgeon and teacher and has cut most ties with his family name due to his grandfather’s experiments, is given the castle where all the experiments were made. Upon his arrival, Frederick finds and reads through his grandfather’s book about his theories and experiments and discovers that they might in fact work. Assisted by Igor, the grandson of the Igor who assisted Victor Frankenstein, and Inga, an attractive lab assistant, he successfully reanimates a body which soon escapes and creates havoc…

In search of some adventure in their safe and peaceful valley, the five dinosaur friends make a hideaway. From there, they spot two thieves in action, stealing an egg from one of their broods. They chase them down and manage to recover the egg without its parents noticing, but in the process, accidentally create an opening into the valley, allowing two dreaded Sharptooths in. Everyone must fight them off together to preserve their peaceful way of life.

Loosely based upon the story by Hans Christian Andersen. Ariel, youngest daughter of King Triton, is dissatisfied with life in the sea. She longs to be with the humans above the surface, and is often caught in arguments with her father over those “barbaric fish-eaters”. She goes to meet Ursula, the Sea Witch, to strike a deal, but Ursula has bigger plans for this mermaid and her father.
