When Molly Hale’s father goes missing, the strange Pokemon that he was studying come to Molly by the power of the strange little blocks. The Pokemon, the Unown, create Entei to act as Molly’s father, and, because of her wish to have a mother too, Entei only goes and kidnaps Delia Ketchum, who just happens to be Ash’s mom. So Ash, Misty and Brock go to the Hale mansion to stop these strange events once and for all…before time runs out for life as we know it.

It all started with a legend passed down from the People of the Water… Somewhere in this world, there is a Sea Temple created by the People of the Water. The Sea Temple contains a hidden treasure called the Sea Crown, but no one has ever seen the Sea Crown, or even the Sea Temple, because the temple is protected by a secret mechanism. The temple drifts through a vast ocean undetected, waiting… waiting… Ash and Pikachu meet Lizabeth, a descendant of the People of the Water, and learn about the legend. They also meet Jackie, a Pokmon Ranger on a secret mission to protect a Manaphy egg (Manaphy is mysteriously known as The Prince of the Sea) and find the Sea Temple as well…

Lucario and the Mystery of Mew, the eighth Pokémon movie, ranks as one of the best features in this popular franchise. Director Kunihiko Yuyama and writer Hideki Sonoda sensibly keep the adventures and threats to a scale that’s appropriate for the characters. (The first movies put the world at risk, and while Ash Ketchum is a good kid, he’s not someone who can credibly save the planet.) Ash, Brock, Max, and May journey to Cameron Palace for a tournament that celebrates the valor of Prince Aaron, who saved the realm from destruction 1,000 years ago. Ash and Pikachu win, but the mischievous Mew kidnaps Pikachu, whom he’s befriended. Prince Aaron’s Pokémon companion Lucario awakens from the victor’s staff to lead Ash and the gang to the Tree of Beginning, a mountain that is also a living entity. Ash risks his life to rescue Pikachu, proving the depth of their friendship to Lucario. The film includes lots of CG effects, most of which work well with the drawn animation: the earlier Pokémon films tended to look like two different movies spliced together.

A comet bearing a deadly Pokemon creature crash-lands onto Earth, terrorising a nearby high-tech city, where Ash, Pikachu and friends are currently visiting…

This movie centers around the new pokémon Celebi, a one-of-a-kind veggie-like bug whose only kin are celebi from other points in time. The movie begins in the past where a young boy named Sam attempts to save Celebi from a hunter. In a reciprocal effort, Celebi uses his power and transports itself and Sam to the present, Ash Ketchum’s time. Sam and Ash become good friends as they fight to save Celebi from the new Team Rocket villain, the Iron-Masked Marauder and his darkball, which turns pokémon evil and augments their powers to the maximum. Yet, one rare pokémon isn’t safe without help from another - thus enters Suicune, a.k.a. the North Wind.

In this direct-to-video sequel to Pokémon: The First Movie, Ash, Misty, and Brock continue exploring the Johto region, then have to rescue Pikachu after Jessie and James of Team Rocket kidnap him. The search leads them to the hidden plateau where Mewtwo has established a haven for the cloned Pokémon from the previous film. The evil Giovanni is plotting to recapture Mewtwo and renew his efforts to create an army of bio-engineered Pokémon. Aided by the reluctant Meowth, Ash and his friends defeat Giovanni and his henchman.

High school student Hitomi Kanzaki, depressed and despondent, wishes to disappear from her world. Her wishes are heard in the alternate world of Gaea where a battle for absolute control is raging! Magically, Hitomi is suddenly transported to this other world and is bestowed with the power to decide its ultimate fate!

Ash Ketchum must put his skill to the test when he attempts to save the world from destruction. The Greedy Pokemon collector Lawrence III throws the universe into chaos after disrupting the balance of nature by capturing one of the Pokemon birds that rule the elements of fire, lightning and ice.
