show all When Joseph discovered he was color blind at the age of 14, he realized that he would never be able to fulfill a lifelong ambition to be a pilot and fly fast jets. The stress of this news lead him to losing his hair through a condition known as Alopecea. After studying hard to get through his exams he then decided to follow his second passion, acting. After lots of encouragement from his drama tutor at college, he auditioned for the most prestigious Theater School for children in London, Sylvia Young, and trained there for 2 years. He then left to audition for some of London's top Drama Schools and after being offered places at several, he decided to go to Mountview Conservatoire For The Performing Arts, as it was the only school to offer a truly well rounded course incorporating acting, singing and dance. Since graduating, Joseph has gone on to perform in many theater productions, including London's West End. A variety of TV guest appearances and also some notable credits in Film. After having reached a certain success in the UK, he is now moving to LA to make an even bigger impression over there. Since arriving in LA a few months ago, Joseph has already had some success completing three movies and a commercial. The first, playing a lead role in the Sci-Fi Channel feature 'Saurian' directed by John Buechler, closely followed by another principal role in the new Wes Craven horror 'Pulse' starring alongside Kristen Bell. Then came the independent 'Killing Ariel' playing the principal role of 'incubus'. The director, David Negron Jr. has spent most of his career working as storyboard artist and 2nd unit director for Kevin Costner. Joseph has just finished shooting a commercial for Japan and is now looking for representation with a reputable agency who can take his success further through the coming pilot season.
