Across the world, children are born with an extra twist to their chromosomes that allow them to exhibit superhuman abilities: fire a beam of force from their eyes, or sprout wings that allow flight or being able to read men’s minds. These ‘children of the atom’ are often feared and despised by the world, forcing these ‘mutants’ to resort to desperate actions. However, one group of mutants have banded together to show the world that it need not fear their kind. After being committed for 15 years, Michael Myers, now a 21-year-old man and still very dangerous, escapes from the mental institution (where he was committed as a 6 year old) and immediately returns to Haddonfield, where he wants to find his baby sister. Anyone who crosses his path is in mortal danger.
