show all Born and raised in Vancouver, Matthew Smalley has been working his way up through the professional acting scene for quite some time. Starting out doing work in plays such as "Behind the Fridge", "A Fine Mess" and "Loose Cannons" with Bobbie Darren Ireland, Matthew got his first taste of nationwide attention with the short film "Moon in the Afternoon", which screened at the Toronto Film Festival in 2002. From that came speaking roles in films such as "Bang, Bang, You're Dead", the TV show "Saved" and the lead in a Rick Tippe music video. In 2007, Matthew secured leading roles in MGM's highly anticipated new film "Boot Camp", playing the troubled Nick, and Lifetime Television's "Lost in the Dark". With these high-profile roles, don't be surprised if Matthew Smalley becomes a household name.
