Another Warner Brothers big screen adaptation was his next venture starring in Black Beauty (1994) A return to the theater in 2004 saw Andrew appear in "The History Boys". The National Theater production later toured the world giving Andrew his first appearance on Broadway. Alan Bennett has also adapted his hit play for the big screen The History Boys (2006).
