The Godfather, Gone with the Wind, Love Story. Her mother, who also appreciated good films, was the first African American Show Host on Home Shopping Network, and her father worked for Honeywell as a Business Liaison Officer. Following in her mother's footsteps, she was in love with the arts from a young age and was constantly trying to get her hands on plays. Her favorite role was that of Tituba in "The Crucible." She left for New York to pursue her acting and modeling career at the young age of 18 years of age. Trying to find her calling, she soon returned to study Business/Marketing at the University of Phoenix. During college she created three businesses' that are still striving today but, still there was a void in her life. Her heart still longed for acting. After college, Veronica now professes that she liked what she was doing, but her dream remained the same as when she was small so she took acting lessons and shifted gears to become a performer. She just recently played the female lead (Diona) opposite Vivica Fox, Clifton Powell, and DMX in The Father of Lies (2007). hide |
