Matthew Newton was always aware that he was more privileged than some and has taken it to good use in his life. He was always told that working for something you desire is much more rewarding in life than just having everything you want served up to you on a silver platter, and for all intents and purposes he has done just that. He is a rather successful actor internationally, and has just finished writing, co-producing and directing his first feature film, he is also very well known in his own home country of Australia as a stage actor.
